The best thing about this book is that when you finish it you can say, "Well, at least my family isn't as bad as THAT." Or at least, I sure hope you can, because this is one very screwed up family. While I thought the beginning of this book was rather tame, the end this book left me feeling icky, just icky. This book was beyond creepy. Just when I thought I could handle some of the story content, Flynn kept making me dive deeper into the bizarre life of Camille and her Missouri past, making me squirm all the while. i was disappointed with part of the ending, kind of. the end felt a little rushed or maybe just too compact for my liking. it fit the story, but i feel a little...meh.
anyway, much darker, i think, than the others (and the others are dark). good read, though.

Bleh! I've said it before and I'll say it again, I could not, in good conscience, recommend Gillian Flynn books to people... they're disgusting. They make my skin crawl. But I CANNOT put them down! She's an amazing writer and she's riveting.
