The best thing about this book is that when you finish it you can say, "Well, at least my family isn't as bad as THAT." Or at least, I sure hope you can, because this is one very screwed up family. Camille is a reporter for a third-rate Chicago newspaper when she's sent back to her hometown in rural Missouri to cover the mysterious deaths of two young girls.
