What Members Thought

Freshly out of my mind, deeply engraved in my conscience, a masterpiece of musings, a multitude of stories woven into one, the journey of Shadow from reality to nothingness and back.
I did not love Shadow, there is no character which touched me fully, and that is ok. The thorough depiction of the characters is however geniusly realized. Only Gaiman could take you on such a paradoxically believable journey without making you fall in love with the characters per se.

The idea here is that when immigrants came to America, they brought their own gods with them and then promptly forgot about them as they assimilated and the world turned away from religion and toward the modern life of credit cards and Internet. Now thes gods have to eke out a living,they are tired of being forgotten and want to fight the new "gods". Not sure I am fully invested in the plot line. The characters are very strange and not very likeable. Reminded me of Tom Robbins and Jitterbug perf
