I won't lie, this book takes some effort to read. Because, as the title implies, the reader must get through the first fifteen lives of Harry August, time traveler, ouroboron, kalachakra, whatever we might call him. He is among a select few people who are destined to repeat their life from the exact same moment of birth, having never forgotten any memories from his prior lives. I enjoyed this so much more than Touch. The jumping around in time is so cleverly organised that I didn't resent the change in life & locus at all. Such dedication to the task as Harry showed deserves a reward - I'd have loved to see what happened in his 16th life.

For Harry August, death is not final. Whenever he dies he is reborn back at the beginning of his life to live it again.
