What Members Thought
I have to say that if I read this book before I went to see Wicked I would of thought twice on seeing the musical. The beginning of the book didn't start that bad but as I progressed through the book it just became twisted, dark and vulgar (at times).
I found that the story line at times was hard to follow and the gaps in time left a lot unanswered.

I liked the idea of seeing things through the witch's view. This was a creative concept, and I enjoyed it. It is not an easy book, as some may think because of its content. Some of my stronger students really enjoyed it, but weaker teen readers got frustrated.

The book did not hold my interest. I found myself skimming pages and just wanting to be done with it.
