What Members Thought

After reading and enjoying Rainbow Rowell's two young adult offerings last year, I was concerned that her latest offering Landline might not live up expectations. The good news is that Landline shows Rowell once again at the top of her game as she was with Eleanor and Park even if the novel doesn't quite hit the stratospheric heights that Fangirl did.*

I liked the characters and dissection of what makes a happy marriage, but it wasn't anything special. I expect more from Rowell.

First off, simply put, Rainbow Rowell is amazing!
Second, I am a 30 year old married mom of 2 boys. I related to this a lot more than a 20-something single college student might.
It was real. It was raw. And when I can come down from this high and compose my thoughts, I will put up a review.
For now I will say, no matter how old you are, if you are slightly interested in Rainbow Rowell's books, pick ...more
