What Members Thought
I'm so glad I read this book!
This was so close to a 5 star read, however the slow start lead to me taking some time to become completely enraptured by the story. But once it did, I was captured.
I was intrigued, invested, had to know what was going to happen. These characters enamored themselves to me and I absolutely loved the Gentelmen Bastards :)
There is heart break, trickery, intrigue, and such plotting.
Definite recommend. ...more

The world created by the author was so complex that it was sometimes difficult to follow, but once I had got my head around Camorr and semi-Venetian feel of the city, I really began to enjoy it. Locke was very likeable because he was flawed and his companions and the lifestyle the
