Yes another Ilona Andrews book - I downloaded it for my trip to Australia, but didn't get to it until I came home. This one also starts out with a ton of world building and lots of details about the world and magic and...well, everything. It's a bit heavy handed at time. But once you get past all that, the story flows well and the innkeepers are an interesting concept.

Dina is an Innkeeper at an Inn that specializes in unique guests. She has to follow certain rules as part of her role as Innkeeper. She has to make tough choices when a killer stalks her neighborhood. Will she follow the rules or help save her community. I really enjoyed this book it started off slow to me but picked up quickly with lots of action. The world was very interesting I liked learning more as the book continued. I had meant to get to this for a long time before I actually did, and I'm honestly glad that I waited. This way I basically was able to read all three books fairly close together.

Totally expected that I would fall for this world too, and I definitely did. <3 ...more
