What a fun read. So much going on and an interesting premise. Love that the Inn is like the Tardis and Casa Madrigal all bundled up into one. I love Dina, Beast, and Caldenia. Sean was growing on me. It was fast paced and kept my interest throughout.

I didn't like this as well as the Kate Daniels series, but it was still pretty good. There were a few infodumps in the form of dialogue that had my eyes glazing over, so that's why it didn't rate higher. ...more

I absolutely loved this setting. Werewolves and vampires as alien creatures, a magical house, and the innkeepers as a neutral Swiss territory for all creatures. I thought Dina and Beast were spunky and fun, and two hot-headed heroes as potential love interests are always enjoyable. I liked the tongue-in-cheek meta reference at the end about love triangles too. Hilarious.
