Magical! I've read this story a few times already, but this is the first time I've listened to it.
We all know the story so I won't go into it here. I love the way Tolkien writes, lyrical, descriptive, the turn of a phrase. It was fun to hear the narrator sing all the songs included in the text.
My favorite parts were visiting the Shire and the Mines of Moira. My favorites characters were Strider/Aragorn and Gandalf. But of course I love them all and also all the settings, well, maybe except Mord ...more

I love this trilogy and Tolkien is one of my favorite writers of all time, he's simply a genius. I've read this books when I was like 11, 12 years old and loved them deeply. I miss them so much I think I might read them all again one of these days :)
