I would pay 50 bucks to see offshoot TV shows based around some characters from this book. Bill Ferny, who betrays the hobbits to the black riders and then sells them a sickly pony at three times its value, could star as Relic in a remake of The Beachcombers.
Tom Bombadil is an interesting character. He should host a late 70s magazine style show from the UK aimed at telling children what they can do with dirt.

Rob Inglis is one of the best narrators and I would not want anyone else to narrate J.R.R. Tolkien's books. Tolkien was always a fan of poetry and his songs are artistic representations of each race in Middle-earth. Rob's ability to sing these songs and bring them to life is wonderful. There is a reason these books are classics. The fantasy genre was not only re-imagined for a modern world in this series, it was recreated.
