wuh, ni buku yg sukses bikin saya jatuh cinta di pandangan pertama (daftar jadi fans mr. tolkien)
sayang seriannya yg laen (TS ama HoME) ga diterjemahin ke bhs indo
jadi susah nyarinya TT (mana inggris saya kampungan lagi)

Great to read (listen) to this as an adult. The movies have left an indelible image of many of the scenes of the book. It was so much fun to return to the original material, get more of a sense of context, and then compare it with the film adaptation.
Rob Inglis is one of the best narrators and I would not want anyone else to narrate J.R.R. Tolkien's books. Tolkien was always a fan of poetry and his songs are artistic representations of each race in Middle-earth. Rob's ability to sing these songs and bring them to life is wonderful. There is a reason these books are classics. The fantasy genre was not only re-imagined for a modern world in this series, it was recreated.
