Shades of Elvis Cole. That was my first thought as I go to know Dino. Not a bad comparison. The verbal give and take between Dino and Seth made me laugh and cringe. Good! I loved the allusions to Nero Wolf, an old favorite of mine. The competing music tastes was delightful. The characters were well written but I would have liked more background on them. Maybe that is for future books?????

This one was definitely more suspense/crime than romance. That is not necessarily a bad thing. I really enjoyed it. The characters had chemistry; the storyline was engaging. The little old lady neighbors were delightful.

I loved Seth. Witty, sexy… Dino was the more reserved of the two. But he was loyal and likeable. I would have liked to have heard Seth’s POV, but I’m wondering if that’s in the sequel, which I will probably be checking out at some point in the near future.
