Hadn't known this was coming out so it was a lovely Christmas suprise, re-visiting well liked characters. I don't think the book works as a standalone, you'd need to read the previous books to recognise some of the characters and understand the full dynamic between the main characters.

Josh, Josh, Josh! You gave your readers a Christmas treat even if it is not Christmas when we read it. I love these two guys. One so mature and settled but still able to be pushed to the emotional edge by the man he loves. The other so strong in his profession but wanting more in his life. As strong as he is in his career he is rubbed raw by the depth of his emotions and love for Stephen. These two MCs are brought to life by words that spin a beautiful complex web for the reader. Mark found himself in a mess that reminiscing his previous life. This, of course, trouble his boyfriend Stephen very much.
