A very creepy story about an old haunted house on the cliff. Good mystery if a bit rushed in the end. And the romance between a cop and a professor/ghost hunter begged some more depth. Other than that, an enjoyable short audiobook in a typical Lanyon style.

One of those typical Josh Lanyon stories: two different men meet under odd circumstances, feel the attraction towards one another and finally end up being a couple. Nothing's wrong with that but I start thinking that Lanyon could do more with his stories and his characters.

Rhys Davies goes to Berkeley House to investigate the paranormal activity in the supposedly haunted house where Illusionist David Berkeley committed suicide almost a century ago.
