A Josh Lanyon classic with murder mysteries, hot cop and vulnerable MC.
Melancholia permeates this story from the beginning. It's like a lazy afternoon when everything slowed and you just closed your eyes feel the breeze on your face and reminisced.
The story seemed to start at maybe 2-3 chapters in, instead of from the beginning. Tim was already in the process of writing his book, he still smarted by Jack's not pursuing the relationship and a few other things.

Josh Lanyon keeps doing it - writing stories that make one laugh and cry at the same time. Cry tears for his characters and tears of happiness at having another one of his wonderful written stories to read. He is a writer that makes me so happen I can read.
