I think I have a lot of fantasy, because I honestly remembered that Mitch bought that old dance studio. Why did I think that? Very abrupt ending.

I am never disappointed in a Josh Lanyon story. This was a sentimental story of coming home. Coming home to your first loves: dancing and Web. Mitch has obtained his boyhood dream. He is a featured ballet dancer with a major company. He has discovered his live in boyfriend has been doing anything in the company. Not a bad read, but nothing super amazing either.

The writing, of course, is wonderful, and I liked the contrast of the Texas Ranger and the Ballet Dancer.

I did think things felt a bit rushed, especially since it had been 12 years since they'd seen each other, and it seemed like all was forgiven and intense feelings came back a little too quickly. But not a bad read Especially if you are able to check it out for free from the library.

I have a weakness for Lanyon and a weakness for stories set in Texas... so of COURSE I had to read Lone Star. Nice story of lost love found. There were a few sterotypes that Lanyon played into that drove me nuts (a bit of a pet peeve for this Texas), but a nice story none-the-less. I love that Lanyon doesn't always wrap everything up in a little bow. There is a HEA, but you know there are still going to be struggles.
