The editing, or lack, really bothered me in this one. The story is fine, but it wasn't compelling. The mystery wasn't mysterious, and the characters generally lacked chemistry.

The mystery was very easy to figure out but it was so well told I didn't mind a bit. Peter was easy to like and sympathize with. I couldn't help but feel and root for him when he slowly and painfully tried to find himself and figure out the puzzle his life had become.

I love Josh Lanyon and give this book 4 stars. Peter wakes up in the hospital with no memory of recent events and accused of a crime. As the story unfolds he has to piece together what he feels and who to trust and it's all so good! The mystery isn't so mysterious, but Josh Lanyon's writing is rock solid.
