I'm a bit disappointed I didn't love this book as well as most people I know. It started out well, with an interesting twist, but I quickly became bored with all the no-touching business. The middle seemed to really drag out and didn't pick up for me until Lazlo came back into the picture. Then, things moved along, and my interest was reignited. Okay, At first this book was hard to get into... but that's not correct. I think what I mean is that I was confused by what Mark was doing. Once it became clear about how life changed for everyone, the scope of the story moved beyond a guy with a "few quirks" to a civilization dealing with a major change.

Extremely fascinating world and their escape through the tunnels had me claustrophobic for Jonathan and Mark. These types of stories... someone being stalked, bank accounts messed with, homes b

I REALLY enjoyed this book! Wow what a different take on vampires. I have to say that although it seemed the book started a little slow, looking back it really didn't. It needed to build this story because you had to learn a completely unique take on vampires. I thought this whole concept was great, different then anything Ive read and I am really glad I read it! ...more
