What Members Thought

First let me say… Oh My Gosh! Now that that is out of the way I also have to say I didn’t READ it. I LISTENED to it on audio. I bought this on a recommendation. (A big step I might add to spend more money on an audio book when I hadn’t read it first.) I only own 4 audio books because they are expensive. (To me anyway.) Amazing, fabulous, loved every word. At no point in this story was I ever considering anything less than 5 stars. From the minute it starts, it grabs you. I loved that they didn't spend too much time on Zach's captivity, yet we always had a crystal clear picture of what happened. I also liked that we saw some of Zach's therapy, but not too much that it took over the story. This book just seemed to have the perfect amount of everything for me.

Characterization was great, and as a recovery story it worked well. Loved the leads.
Pacing-wise it moved a little too slowly for me, with too many misunderstandings. I wish there had been just a bit more conflict either from the outside or even just between the main characters that went beyond them misinterpreting one another because while their feelings were realistic to the situation, as a reader it felt very repetitive to go through the same pattern over and over again.
