We find Kit and JX in another intrigue involving writers, when Kit is called to the rescue of an old friend.
I liked JX's successful attempts to make Kit come out of his shell and smiled fondly at Kit's inner antics. His biggest quality is his lucidity and it allowed him to grow up in this story.
I was captivated by the mystery and what I found truly interesting was how Kit's character development and the intrigue worked as opposite mirrors.
I can't wait to see him in another mystery! ...more

All She Wrote is the second instalment of Josh Lanyon's Holmes and Moriarity series, and segues very smoothly indeed from book one; it could be read alone, as it has enough snippets of backstory for new readers to follow the overarching establishment of characters and relationships, but really it would be such a waste to not read book one first!

FABULOUS!
I love the wry humor and self deprecation sprinkled throughout this book. The mystery... well, I knew who it had been from the beginning despite all the red herrings he threw our way. Logic will out says the Economics major.
The romance was great, but not sticky, icky sweet. I really enjoyed this book, it had everything that made me a fan of Mr. Lanyon's work: good craftsmanship, humor, engrossing style and just that hint of witty, sharp charisma that never crosses the faint line to ace ...more
