Oh Adrien--my heart hurts for you--and Jake needs a good kick in the ass-
This third part of "Adrien English Mystery" is as always pulling. The main storyline is well plotted and till the end the intensity never wavered. Adrien is truly the strongest character, ever. His love for Jake was so deep and he knew, it wasn't his pace to change Jake's mind. Jake wanted a family, to be normal and Adrien was strong enough to let him go. What else could he do.... Is this the best mystery series ever? I don't know, I haven't read many, but I am addicted to Adrien English . Josh Lanyon has created a character that just clicks with my sense of humor and outlook on the world. Okay, the romance between him and Jake is a definate draw, but the actual mysteries are dark, intelligent, action packed and fun! I am bummed there are only 5 in this series, but if there is a HEA for Adrien I will be satisfied.
