Jake, Jake, Jake. You have severely disappointed me. I'm hurt, I'm angry, I just don't know what to think anymore. Adrien, man the hell up and say something for crying out loud! Arrrggghhhh. You two frustrating the ever loving fu@k out of me!
I was not so into the mystery this time, and I am not a fan of Guy. There also seemed to be a lot of wasted/unnecessary characters that I didn't really care about. Just my opinion, but still an overall good read.
Anyway, enough ranting, next book please. ...more

Oh Adrien--my heart hurts for you--and Jake needs a good kick in the ass-
I really enjoyed The Hell You Say, I didn't know a lot about the occult and it gives a great description. It is the third in the Adrien English series and really worth reading. It is hard to describe it without doing a spoiler so I will stop now.

Is this the best mystery series ever? I don't know, I haven't read many, but I am addicted to Adrien English . Josh Lanyon has created a character that just clicks with my sense of humor and outlook on the world. Okay, the romance between him and Jake is a definate draw, but the actual mysteries are dark, intelligent, action packed and fun! I am bummed there are only 5 in this series, but if there is a HEA for Adrien I will be satisfied.

I do not remember Jake being such a jerk. The issue of honesty with ALL parties bothered me more now than the first time I read the book. Overall, I enjoyed the story but it is not my favorite.
The narration on this audiobook was much better than the last two books. Smooth transitions between scenes and the volumes were steady. 5.0 for the narration.
On to the next book.
