Loved Adrien but could have hit Jake with a shovel. But I probably would have had to stand in line behind a lot of these other folks.
I didn't care for the subject matter, demons, witches, etc. I think what bugged me the most was that everyone kept assuming that Adrien was believing all the mystisism, then he spent half his time trying to explain that he didn't believe a real demon was doing this stuff but that someone was behind it.

This series just keeps getting better. These books are like potato chips, you can’t just have one. Satanic cults, murders, missing authors, adorable professors – oh my!! Poor Adrien keeps stumbling into murder investigations and then can’t seem to keep his curiosity from pulling him in deeper. Jake keeps pushing himself further into the closet and cannot seem to find a way out. The mystery part of this story kept me guessing right up until the end. シリーズ中盤になりますが、うう、主人公といっしょになって、胸をきりきりと締めつけられる感じ。
もうとまらない。最後までいっきに読んでしまおう！
It's about the middle of the series and I don't know how many times I have to have my heart being squeezed and have a pause to calm myself and acknowledge that, how cruel and merciless it could be, there should always be some inevitable developments for m/m romance stories when one of the lovers choose to stay deep down in the closet.
