Second review:
So I've read this four times now. These books never get old. I think what helps there is the romance. I'm not sure I'd want to reread a straight up mystery novel. I think I do mainly reread these for the romance aspect, as hard as that romance is to get through. BUT, here's the thing, with these books especially, the mysteries definitely enhance the romance. I loved this story. I had to stop reading several times to calm down and/or wipe the tears from my eyes. It was funny, heart rending, interesting, and in some ways, infuriating still. aww... I love this series very much!!
For me, the fourth book of Adrien English Mystery is more emotional than the previous three and I feel sorry for what happens with Adrien.
Having a broken heart, both from his heart condition and get dumped by his boyfriend, doesn't stop him for playing amateur sleuth and he manage to solve the case and probably get his darling back. That's what we need for main character!
