Adrien English is a loser

I love Adrien (with an E) English . These are intelligent and witty mysteries. I couldn't predict who dunnit in either book. Adrien is a gay bookstore owner with a bad heart (caught Rheumatic fever as a teen). He is suppose to avoid stressful situations...you can pretty much guess that is never going to happen . This series is THE BEST. I can re-read it so many times, and it will always be AMAZING. I love both first two books and each next one is better, and better. Adrien is one of my favorite characters! His attitude to life, toward Jake and people around him...really strong character!
A very good introduction to a mystery series and a very good writer of mysteries. It is about a bookseller and a police detective. It is an excellent mystery with a gay sensibility.
