Spoilers down der.

Ah, the dramatic conclusion to this series. I think I've said most of what I had to say in the other book reviews.
In this book, I didn't really care as much. I didn't care who killed Skelly, I didn't really care about the people snooping around. Well, saying I didn't care if strong. I didn't care as much as I previously have.

I felt like I liked Jake 10% more for a while, then 5% less.. so technically now I still like him more than previously, but maybe that dislike has transfe

This book went a long way in redeeming both Adrien and Jake.

Jake makes amends for his mistakes and how he hurt Adrien. It's taken him a long time, but Jake finally realizes that the extent he went to in order to hide his sexuality wasn't his only option. I'll admit, I'm still not completely sold on him, but I can live with the progress he's made.

Plus, Jake's big "I love you" speech was all kinds of romantic.

Adrien finally grew a backbone. He came close to wavering a few times, but he sticks to h

*listened to on audio...finished 4/20, my second "read"*
oh..my...gawd. Jake on audio? My brain almost melted.
"Love you? Of course I love you. Baby, I fucking worship you." Did I listen to that like 15 times? Uh...yes I did. lol

::sigh:: I do like HEAs, and I appreciate Jake and Adrien's story tying together in a nice little bow. But, but...did it have to end so soon? There is still soooooooo much story to tell. what happens to J & A now? (I saw someo

This damned book made me cry. Not because of the mystery, but because of the conclusion of Adrien and Jake's arc. I don't want to spoil anything here, so I'd rather not comment about the tears. I will say I walked away from this series extremely satisfied. But if Josh ever decided to write a sixth book to the series, I guarantee I'd be preordering the thing the minute I heard about it. If you haven't tried out these books, you have no idea what you're missing. Highly, highly recommended. ...more

What to say? I don't know where to begin, not without spoiling anything, so I'll just say this is a must-read, but you you must read books 1-4 first, or it won't work. Lanyon is very good at explaining important points of the plot from previous episodes, but the whole relationship tension, the build up to this whopping finale? You need to stay the distance.

Gutted that I've reached the end of the series. Still living with it. Would love to see it on TV. Will read it again. Brilliant.
