While I wasn't entirely pleased with the first H & M book, it serves as vital groundwork for this second one.
Kit, while he hasn't undergone any revolution in character, is trying. He's trying to put his life back together, he's trying to make sense of things and think of others, and, in this story, he's trying to help an old friend. Okay, I admit it - I'm a series ho. I love a well-written series that shows a progression of emotional growth and realistic setbacks between engaging characters. I love a series that grabs me so tightly that I can't put the current book down and I can't wait for the next installment. This series has me folks - I'm a goner.

I adore Josh Lanyon's characters and writing style. This was another well written story. Unfortunately I didn't fall in love with story line this time but it won't stop me from reading Book 3. Kit and JX are a great couple and can't wait to read about their next crazy adventure.

Great story! It ended too quickly. I hope we get more with Holmes and Moriarity.
