This wasn't the perfect crime book. But the writing was awesome (seriously, AWESOME!) and I loved it nonetheless.

Fives stars for the story but only 3 stars for the audio.
I really liked this story and I have had it in my kindle for ages but I didn't like the narration. It was nearly monotone in some places so not my favourite kind of audiobook. I really enjoyed this book. It was more of a "practical" romance in that there was no super heroic drive for them to come together or be together. It demonstrated what I feel often happens, two men do struggle to find their place in a m/m relationship. It dos not fall victim to the cop-out of many romance novels; where you can almost hear the author concede to someone playing the female role. After having read the Adrien-English-series this plot reminded me quite a lot of the twists and events of the bookstore-owner. although here the hero is an ex-FBI agent with a damaged knee (no hart condition) and he also has to deal not only with murder but also with a difficult (ex) lover.
