A couple of months ago on a loop chat, I asked Josh if the Adrien English mysteries were on Kindle. Josh responded in a sort of delighted surprise that, yes, they were, and he was always pleased when he found someone who hadn't read them yet.

I have to confess, it took me awhile to dive into Josh's work, and I came in sort of backwards, starting with A Vintage Affair rather than one of the more popular titles. Why did it take so long? A niggling intimidation factor, maybe. Josh is what every oth

This is the first book in the Adrien English series. It was an actual mystery with not that much romance but so good.

I like Adrien English. He's smart and likable and smart. He is a mystery writer and he loves mystery novels. In this book his best friend turns up dead and he is the prime suspect. I read this book January 27, 2012. I waffled on listening to it when I found it on audible. Since I loved the series, I decided to give it a try. The narration by Chris Patton was enjoyable and I am ready to jump in and pick up the next book on audio. It has been a while since I read the books and this is a fun way to revisit the series.
