What I said before. I enjoyed Adrien and the mystery. Not a big fan of Jake but the energy is there between them.

Re-read - it's been some time but I still like this book. Adrien is an appealing character, intelligent and likeable. The love interest is a bare meeting in this first book lots of complications giving both a palatable appeal though plenty of reason to stay away.

This book caught me totally unawares. I'm not even sure how I ended up reading this but the synopsis sounded interesting so decided to give it a try. Well I ended up being totally sucked into the story and (more importantly) the characters.
Adrien English was a delightful main character and I really enjoyed being in his head. The mystery was interesting and kept me guessing, but it was Adrien that really captured my interest, well that and a certain police detective...

A little slow paced in the beginning, but as a whole i enjoyed it a lot.
