Enjoyable sequel and much like the first, I flew through it! I continued to enjoy the world building here, but unlike the first book this one takes place almost entirely outside of the school on summer break. I did find myself missing the boarding school vibes, but understand the choice. I felt it frustrating that the ending issue of the previous book is essentially never brought up again or ever resolved in any satisfactory way--it felt like an odd choice given what an intense and clearly signi ...more
