The Magician Murders is a thoroughly satisfying, gripping third book of Josh Lanyon's The Art of Murder series. This series is fast becoming one of my all time favorites with its unlikely but oh so intriguing main couple!

The aftermath of a creepy assault on Jason's life forces Jason West and Sam Kennedy to take some time off in Sam's childhood surroundings. Almost magically bodies start to pile wherever these two go. In no time they're not only trying to figure out who is after Jason, but also w

Best One in Series so Far

This is a fun series in my opinion. I like the way it is taking a while for the relationship between Jason and Sam to develop. Looking forward to number four

Sam

This one was really good. Jason is recuperating from someone attacking him. He and Sam spend some dedicated time together and Jason is given a simple case to consult on. But nothing is eve that simple. We get a little more of Sam in this story. These two have a complicated relationship.
