This one was definitely worth the wait. The Art of Murder series, by Josh Lanyon, gets better and better with each installment as we, the readers, go on a tumultuous ride-along, learning more and more about Jason West and Sam Kennedy with each turn of the page, the forces that keep them together...and those that threaten to tear them apart. And once again, Josh Lanyon has populated this story with a multitude of engaging side characters and sinister suspects to ponder as the body count rises. A

4.5 stars. I thoroughly enjoyed this one, I finished it in a day! Jason and Sam are two men who are very different from each other and yet very similar in a lot of ways; watching them navigate building their relationship makes for a satisfying read.
After reading that ending, I hate having to wait a year to find out what happens next.
