Second (Third, Fourth, etc.) Read: August 7 - 8, 2020
I actually finished this in an hour, then started all over again from the beginning, and did it several more times these past two days. I've been uninspired with new books or those waiting in my Kindle. I needed motivation.

It was great to catch up with Adrien and Jake. Taking place shortly after The Dark Tide it was so great to see them still moving forward and falling deeper in love. Jake still struggles with his feelings at times, but mostly it's because he doesn't think himself worthy of Adrien and because of the way his family has reacted.

There are a few cameos with characters from prior books and a bit of a mystery but it was all about Adrien and Jake for me. I'll continue to hope it's not the last ...more

Visiting an old friend for the holidays

What a pleasure to visit with Jake and Adrien again. This story had a little bit of everything you could have wanted. A view into Jake and Adrien's relationship, a little mystery, a little suspense, a little family drama(both Adrien's and Jake's) and a happy ending. I wish there was more. ...more

Finally! I really loved this Adrien & Jake Story and hope for more still. They are so good together and if there will be no more, at least this was a satisfying finish.
