"Lie back and think of England"
Indeed...
What a compelling and intriguing read! It is so cleverly written and weaved together that the mystery became as important to me as romance here, and that's saying a lot.
I loved everything about this book. Archie and Daniel are amazing together. The Viking and the Poet. What a beautiful combination. Handsome, intelligent and quirky, Daniel is a sight to behold. It's impossible not to fall for his charms. And despite the poor background, he has a ba ...more

4,5 stars.
Totally loved it.
To be frank, I wasn't so sure if I would since the beginning was on a more serious note comparing to Magpie books. This book was so friggin good. I would have given it 5 stars, but the ending got wrapped up too tightly, too quickly. Hopefully there will be a book 2?
I wish I had more Daniel to read!! His one liners were classic.

A cracking good yarn. And the title is indeed the double entendre you might expect. Highly recommended!
