Определено не мога да я нарека шедьовър, но и не мога да отрека, че много ми хареса. Покрай манията си да чета трилъри, очакванията ми бяха доста високи. А покрай хайпа - вдигнаха се двойно. Беше ми ясно какъв ще е финала около средата на книгата. Хареса ми обаче начина по който беше оплетено всичко и как с всяка страница те изненадва.

Един от нас лъже е една добре написана тийн книга с елементи на мистерия, нещо на което не бях попадала скоро. Още от самото резюме разбрах, че ще е нещо подобно на Клюкарката и Малки сладки лъжкини, но останах приятно изненадана, че историята се разпростира дори повече. Въпреки че очаквах доста неща от финала, това не развали нотката на интерес и очакване, ами сега какво. This book is such a disappointment, I was expecting an intense thriller with intriguing and sophisticated characters, but One of Us Is Lying is everything but that. There is not enough mystery thro' the story and there is barely any police investigation involved. None of the police officers asked the right questions, like who could put the cell phones in the bags of the four main characters. I’ve “read” this as a audiobook and pleased to announce that my attempt was all there, all the time.

In general, the book started great - mystic vibes, high school drama, teenagers with the most typical problems (a total cliche even I’d say for some of them) but with the end of the first half of it I was annoyed and couldn’t care less about any of the characters.
