Wow!!! (Still Wow!!! on a re-read)

I'm always thrilled for a new Kate Daniels book and this did not disappoint. Plenty of action but still had time for some tender moments.

Kate's father is still a big issue and you learn more about her family. The wedding planning is fun and I really enjoyed Roman this time around. Pretty much all her old friends and allies show up(view spoiler)

Can't wait for the next one!

Is there a snippet or a Curran POV story about the divine tiger incident? I feel like I’ve read it at some point but I can’t find it anywhere now. Did I imagine it?

Nothing to say but a Kermit flail. Love this series and this book and Kate & Curren so much. Oh, and Roman, always liked him but love him here. I have nothing else coherent - love.

There is just so much going on in these books. Action, mythology, character development... Reading a Kate Daniels novel is always a treat.

The skull glared at me out of empty eye sockets.

Kate and Curran are moving along with their wedding plans.
they ask Roman, the priest of the god of All Evil and Darkness to officiate. Roland is building an enclave just outside the borders of Atlanta and kidnaps Saiman. So begins what could be an epic war.

Kate and Curran are one of my favorite couples from all genres. I love the easy repartee between them even during times of strife. The visit with Roman in the book's opening could almost be cons
