Wow!!! (Still Wow!!! on a re-read)
I'm always thrilled for a new Kate Daniels book and this did not disappoint. Plenty of action but still had time for some tender moments.
Kate's father is still a big issue and you learn more about her family. The wedding planning is fun and I really enjoyed Roman this time around. Pretty much all her old friends and allies show up(view spoiler)
Can't wait for the next one! ...more

Whoa...that was an intense book! Definitely one of the best in the series. Magic Binds focuses on the history and lore of Kate's magical roots. We learn more about her power, where it comes from and why it works in the way it does. Secrets are revealed...unlikely alliances are made...unforeseen betrayal...and lots of love. I feel the story is no longer urban fantasy...but more of an urban epic fantasy. So much ground work has been laid over the past 8 books and things are starting to come togeth

There is just so much going on in these books. Action, mythology, character development... Reading a Kate Daniels novel is always a treat.

they ask Roman, the priest of the god of All Evil and Darkness to officiate. Roland is building an enclave just outside the borders of Atlanta and kidnaps Saiman. So begins what could be an epic war.
