I have yet to read a novel by Ilona Andrews that I didn't love and Magic Breaks is not going to ruin my stride.

I absolutely love the world building of the Kate Daniels series, but most of all I enjoy the characters and their relationships. Kate and Curran are my favorite fictional couple and I adore how stable and awesome they are.

Yay! It is always exciting to get a new book in one of your favorite series and this one doesn't fail to deliver.

Kate and all are back home just waiting for the other shoe to drop. Which it quickly does in a fairly well thought out plan. However just when it seems like our favorite shapeshifter pack has outmanuevered the enemy, something unexpected happens that shifts the local and brings Kate one step closer to her ultimate destiny.

When I grow up I want to be Katie Daniels. I love everything about her so you can pretty much guess how this review is going to go. We have watched Kate go from a very defensive loner to an extremely loyal friend. Carefully she has dropped her walls and let others into her life only to find out everything she holds dear is in peril; we finally get to see what she is made of and boy is it bas ass!

Where to begin? I might have to come back and edit this review, because I feel it'll take some time for me to find the words to explain what is so amazing about this book.

I read somewhere that characters are as intelligent as their authors, and I thought it made sense. I would like to add that they're also as brave as their authors.

It took me awhile to pick this one up and it's been 2 years since I've been in KD's world (Magic Rises I read in 2016). I don't know why it took me so long to pick up #7. While I very much remember the events of book 6, I liked the refresher and character list in this one. But this one was, boom, pow, non-stop!
I liked learning more about Ghastek's background, it makes him a bit more likable (I did say a bit!). Major Things happen in this. Just wow!
