This is Alexios' story. If you remember, he is one of the princes' seven warriors. He was captured by Anubisa and tortured the same time as Conlan (the prince). I'm having fun with this series. The storyline progresses even though there's some sort of romance going on.
The ending was a bit rushed and the fact that Alexios and Grace got the jewel back so quickly felt like a let down.
There are so many little things mentioned that make me want to read the rest of the series. So to add to my growing list of "I wonder what's going to happen with..."

Light and enjoyable but it just felt a bit too rushed. Felt as if there were bits missing too, especially when Alaric went after Quinn. Am hoping that their story is done soon and will help fill in the blanks.
