Não sou muito adepta do tema Zombies mas actualmente parece estar na moda devido à popular série The Walking Death. Como acabei de referir, apesar de não ser apreciadora de mortos-vivos, as boas críticas a este livro suscitaram-me curiosidade e tendo oportunidade de lê-lo através do blogring, cedido pela Gia (Obrigada!) comecei a ler o livro sem qualquer expectativa, foi o meu primeiro livro com esta temática e posso dizer que o saldo é positivo.

4.5 stars. Loved the majority of the book though the ending did fizzle out a bit. I'm going to hand this one down to my teenage son. It's got that sort of teen angst/let's change the world feel to it.

Ok, zombie Romeo and survivor Juliet kind of story. I expected to be kind of cheesy and I had low expectations for this book.
I did not expect to be in awe of the words, the flow... It was like music or wind. This was not the next War and Peace or anything but I absolutely loved it.
I loved R and his eloquent inner monologues.

Absolutely loved it! And although I'm glad there is a second book in the works, and a prequel, because I'd love to read more, it would be great even as a standalone. Haven't seen the movie, but I'm sure I'll get to it eventually. Hopefully it's a fraction as good (we all know the movies aren't as good :)). Great novel and def on my reread shelf.
