Oh shit. So glad my family is not like Jane's. Or Zeb's. Or Jolene's. 'Cause really?! At first it is funny, but then gets bit annoying. Think multiple rude, manipulative, and un-loving comments and behaviors. Jane does (kinda) stand up for herself. Then there is Gabriel (do not find out who Jeanine is in this one, so maybe book 3), the master of business trips and communication. ummm... it was ok...
I liked it, I really did, but it's just that... it was sooo annoying to keep reading about Mama Ginger and Jane's family, why can't she be a scary-kick-ass vampire once?
I understand it doesn't go with the character but what about Gabriel?, he's an old vampire, why can't he be a bad ass boyfriend instead of a jerk?
