Literary Ames
Unfortunately this was an incredibly disappointing sequel.

1) There were fewer laughs.

2) The problem with Zeb was obvious from the start.

3) Why Zeb didn't retaliate or leave his fiancée when her family continued with their attempts to kill him? I mean, he lost a toe. Who wouldn't do something after that?

4) I could've smacked Jane for not giving Gabriel an ultimatum, "tell me what you're hiding from me or I walk".

5) The wedding chaos and family feuding dragged.

"If there was a very special episode of 'I Love Lucy', where Lucy was turned into a vampire, she'd probably use my story. Let's just say I didn't have any choice. It was either death or this."

In Nice Girls Don't Date Dead Men Jane tries to help Zeb and Jolene prepare for their Titanic-themed wedding while surviving their families. Zeb's mom, Mama Ginger, is unable to accept that her boy, Zeb, could love anyone other than Jane. And Jolene's were-family insists on playing pranks on Zeb, which all cause some sort of major injury, since he's only human.

Meanwhile, seems like her Grandma Ruthie (a 4xwidow) has lost another husband, so she's forced to deal with her family at the funeral. J

I think I am now well schooled in weddings, and lessons in the way proper Southern Hospitality is supposed to be followed. Two topic I don't like to discuss along with Baby showers and Family Reunions. I feel Jane's plight. I had a good time reading this, and didn't have to take any of it serious. ...more

Fantastic follow up book in the Jane Jameson series!! Molly Harper is hilarious as usual! Once again I could not put the book down!!
