I liked this but didn't like it as much as the first book. Sure it was a chance to get to know some of the other characters mentioned in the first book, but I wasn't feeling it with them.
The wedding and all the chaos Mama Ginger caused was annoying. Get over it already Mama Ginger. I was happy when her husband finally stood up to her at the end. He should have done it sooner.
One of the bright spots in the book was Dick. He saved the day for me. I'm glad he and Gabriel are now on friendlier term ...more

Really enjoying this perky series. I try not to look too hard for Southern Vampire series parallels, but they are there. The main character has a nice snarkiness to her and the guys are strong yet cuddly. Not had to fall for these characters and their quirks! Language is pretty mild and the sexual references are there, but fairly tame.
