The first of this series I didn't care much for.
I didn't really much like Hope, I found her self pity annoying and her motivations were off.
I did like Lucas's role however and how he was forced to deal with his father and brothers - it will be interesting to see how that develops in future novels.

It was good, okay much better than the book that came before this in the series, BUT I expected it to be about Hope. It was somewhat but it was 50/50 she shared the book with Lucas and the Cortez Cabal. I'm not surprise how things turned out and I'm happy Hope and Karl are a couple now. ...more

I should never have doubted Kelley Armstrong. I wasn't thrilled with the character of Hope, but this book was just as good as the others in the series. It wasn't my favorite of the bunch, but still really enjoyable. ...more
