Notes: I read the eARC version of the book provided by the publisher via NetGalley. I will need to check quotes against the final copy. Assume any and all errors are my own because they probably are.
My synopsis of the book:
’There had always been two apocalyptic prophecies about the Four Horsemen, one catalogued by a demon holy book, the Daemonica, and one accounted for in the human bible. The differences lay in how their Seals would beak and what side the Horsemen would fight on…good or evil. ...more

Reseph is also known as Pestilence He is the Horseman responsible for ravaging the world with death and destruction, committing terrible acts toward his siblings and their mates, working with the evils of Hell to destroy the world and all that is in it.
Reseph's story begins with him having amnesia. He has no memory of who he is or where he came from. He has no memory of the a**hole he has been to his family, society, and the harm he has caused others. I wondered how he would be redeemed after ...more

Why is it the books I really like also kind of piss me off?I don't know where to begin. There are too many characters I have a reaction to.
Jillian and Reseph were cool. They work well together. She's strong willed and tired of men walking all over her. He's a piece of guilt ridden mess. Blah, blah, blah.My take away from their relationship: Jillian has more balls than Reseph. Did Pesti really think he had a chance against her? Really?Lilith: Meh. Not like that wasn't coming. Harvester: I don't ...more

Loved it. Great conclusion to the Horsemen's storyline. Well kinda. Still gotta wait for Reaver's story (which I'm super psyched for!). Loved Reseph throughout the whole book... I wasn't sure how this would work out at first and wasn't expecting it to be so good. I had hoped for a happy ending for Reseph from the beginning of the series... The siblings' memories and his little breakthroughs begging for death tore me up. Great job by ms ione for sure. I don't wanna say anything else cuz I don't ...more

I wasn't sure how Larissa would pull this one off, I was a little scared that she wouldn't be able to make me fall in love with Reseph. I really need to stop doubting that woman! Everytime she manages to surprise me, there was twists in this book that I didn't expect and damn did I fall for Reseph. I loved the ending how it perfectly sets up the next book while wrapping up so many plot threads. I can't wait to revisit the Demonica world, the little teasers in this just weren't enough!
