I love the way the story is evolving, and the way we're seeing the Immortal races impacted. I love watching Kaylin grow.
The only thing that I'm unhappy about is... well, frankly, exactly what (view spoiler) is unhappy about: they don't respect Kaylin at all. I'm going to be honest, I shouted at the book when Lord Diar-douchecake said, about Kaylin, that "respect is earned." What the fuck does she have to do to earn it? I quite enjoyed this one compared to the last 2! Although the writing can still be too dialogue driven, the heroine has finally shown some growth! Looking forward to more of Nightshade in the next book YAY!
