I like my PNR a bit on the steamy side so this was very tame for me. I liked the slow pace at the beginning and how the heroine took some time to get used to the supernatural world but I had hoped the action at the end was going to be more exciting. I really didn't feel any sense of danger - which is not what you look for when I read a vampire book - and the issues were over too quickly. Not sure if I'm continuing the series.

Holy rusted metal Batman! That was a fun read!
I could hang with all the characters. Although, I don’t think I would be a good “pet” for Gio to take to Gavin’s bar. I’d wear a turtleneck and taunt all the vampires with, “figure this out,” while pointing to my neck. And please, he only kissed her for show and didn’t mean it? Come on!
Lorenzo was skin crawl creepy. I wanted to smack him myself when he first started talking. While reading, I kept hearing him speak in a high pitch voice. That alone ma
