Every now and then, I get in the mood to listen to sexy PNR in audio and this series is just great for that. The love scenes are plentiful and so freaking steamy! Definitely what I was looking for.
That said, the plot for this one was almost a clone of the first book in the series. Again, we have a woman with wolf issues and the same bantering with the old lady. At least the set up for the next book seems a bit different so I'll definitely give it a shot.

Wicked Cravings focuses on Dante, Beta of the Phoenix Pack. Feeling that any relationship other than one with his true mate would end badly, he's avoided anything permanent. That was much easier before Jaime Farrow, a childhood friend who has always held a torch for Dante, joined their pack. Jaime, however, is quite tired of being shunned by Dante. She's made it clear she's interested yet he's made it clear he isn't, so she's done. No more. Time to move on. Of course, it's then that Dante pulls

I like it, even though there are some bits that serious strain my ability to suspend disbelief.
Also, I'm not entirely sure that I get Jaime's problem, and how it differs from Trey (going feral in fights, when he's in wolf form) ... people in this pack treat her as if she's a threat that needs to be executed (or at least banished), when in reality, she doesn't seem to be much different from him. It takes her longer to shake it off, maybe... but seriously, in the last book, the guys just watched ...more

A light, uncomplicated PNR, this is the story of Dante, the Phoenix pack's beta, and Jamie, one of their old packmates that has rejoined them.
A lot of similarities with the first book, many familiar characters, and some foreshadowing about the next book in the series, Carnal Secrets, and Nick and Sayah's story that sounds quite interesting. ...more

I loved this second instalment just as much as the first, I love the pack dynamics and how there is development on both characters and plot movement outwith the overall story arc contained within each book. I am hooked on the series!

it was surely funny but i couldnt help but c0mpare them with my favorite sn0w dancer and leopard packs. they have m0re ...substance? i d0nt kn0w. but i did appreciate the hum0r in this 0ne, th0ugh there were parts that i yawned. selective reading might w0rk if im to c0ntinue with this series.

2 stars - Paranormal/Shifter/Erotic Romance

2.5 stars. I ❤ Greta and the humorous retorts to her malicious remarks. Skimmed the dullness in the middle as I was tempted to DNF. Not enough plot to keep me happy. Predictable villain. Dante set off 'abusive' alarm bells for me. Dominant, possessive shifters are definitely my thing - but Dante was OTT.

Another great book from Suzanne Wright. I love her shifters and this book was no exception. Can't wait for the next one!!
