Hot Blooded is the second installment in the Jessica McClain series and basically picks right up where Full Blooded ended. Jessica and team are on a mission to find Jessica’s mate Roarke who was were-napped by the evil goddess Celina in book 1.

Minor Spoilers of Full Blooded
Hot Blooded starts off almost exactly where Full Blooded ended. Jessica is not only a target to many supernatural races, but her Mate was kidnapped by God who thinks she has the dibs on Jessica’s man.

Initial thoughts:
4.5 stars+ - This one went from 0 to 60 in no time flat. Lots of action, bat-like demons, zombie mountain goats, and a psychotic goddess. This is fast becoming one of my favorite urban fantasy series.
